8 June | 16:00 - 19:30 | €75 p.p.
What to expect
Whether you're a beginner or seasoned artist, our instructor Silvana will be there to provide guidance and technical tips. After a preliminary instruction you will start sculpting your piece. Throughout the afternoon tips and tricks will be given to help craft your piece. Ultimately we want to make sure you have a good time and enjoy playing around with clay in your own style. You can choose between black or red clay. Every student will get the same amount of clay to ensure you can finish the piece within the provided time.
Practicalities
The afternoon will be divided into several segments of 30-40 minutes. All students will be placed around the model and rotate around her so all angles can be studied. Between every rotation there will be a short break so the model can rest. Half way through we'll take a longer break. Some soup and bread will be provided. Once your piece is finished, the teachers will make sure it dries slowly and fire the piece after. As the clay is quite colourful of itself, the pieces will remain unglazed.
