What to excpect?
This workshop isn’t just about making a ceramic piece—it’s about shaking up your creative process and diving deeper into clay. Whether you want to try new techniques, challenge yourself, or simply carve out time to explore, this is your chance.
Before we start building, we’ll warm up with unexpected creative exercises designed to help you see and think differently. Then, you’ll get hands-on with a variety of clays—red, black, blue, speckled, and more—and experiment with techniques like marbling, Nerikomi, and sgraffito.
No pressure, no strict rules—just play, discovery, and the freedom to create something uniquely yours.
By the end of the session, you’ll have designed and built your own unique ceramic cup or small piece—whether functional or decorative, it’s up to you! Your piece will be fired and glazed, ready for you to pick up and take home once it's finished.

About the teacher
Daniela is a Dutch-Mexican artist and one of the teachers at Hola Lola Studio, she will be guiding you through the Reboot!
Last year, she traveled to Mexico to break out of creative routines and challenge herself in both ceramics and photography. Seeking new inspiration, she explored different studios, learned from fellow artists, and experimented with fresh approaches. Now, she’s bringing back her discoveries, energy, and ideas to help you do the same!
